Project Overview
Deep flat roofs, cedar, ledgestone and walls of glass set into a wooded hillside.
A new home in Woodbridge that takes its cues from midcentury modern architecture. Deep flat roofs with cedar soffits float over ledgestone walls and floor to ceiling glass, and the house steps down a wooded slope so the lower level and garage tuck into the grade.
Inside, the main rooms open to the trees on three sides. Stacked stone fireplaces anchor the living spaces and the covered terrace, and rooftop solar panels sit out of sight above the roofline.
